But today, at least for a moment, we’d like to take a look back to the past, to our history. A 50-year journey that has led us to be the company we are today.
WE’VE COME A LONG WAY SINCE THE 1960S: from a small mechanical engineering company of a Tuscan province to a large industrial group, acknowledged world leader in the field of tissue paper.
We are certainly proud of what we have accomplished, but never forget where we came from.
STARTING FROM LUCCA, OUR NATIVE CITY, WE BEGAN VENTURING OUT INTO THE WORLD, exploring and conquering new markets. Today we are present in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. We are part of the Körber Group that sustains our development strategy based on a logic of sustainable, long-term growth.
The history of our brand is marked by many important steps that have characterized the evolution of the industry we work in. The names of our patents represent milestones in tissue technology.

1980s First ALFA rewinder.
1990s New Sincro winding system, over 900 machines installed.
2000 Introduction of the TIME line generation for soft, bulky rolls at high speeds.
