Amy Flurry and Nikki Salt, co-founders of Paper Cut Project, use simple sheets of paper to create their works exclusively by hand with the aid of cardboard cards, small knives and glue. Their artistic activity spans from the creation of 19th-century style stage wigs to realistic animal-shaped masks (they have created owls, lions, hares). Their work has fascinated fashion designers and jewelers who use their creations in their boutiques. Amy Flurry and Nikki Salt have created installations for Kate Spade, Hermes, Cartier, RED Valentino. They have also worked for the Victoria & Albert Museum, creating 16 paper wigs for the "Hollywood Costume" exhibition.
