TidBits 085: A sanctuary where worries can be solved!

The owner of this particular construction was Mr. Sim Jae-duck but he preferred to be called Mister Toilet House!

As Chairman of the organizing committee of the Inaugural General Assembly of the World Toilet Association, he thought it appropriate to design this 420-square-meter villa to attract the public opinion's attention to the need to diffuse the use of toilets in order to combat serious diseases deriving from their chronic lack.

Located 40 km from Seoul, in Korea, the name of the toilet-shaped house is Haewoojae, that in Korean means "a place of sanctuary where one can solve one's worries." Built in steel, white cement and glass with a symbolic opening on the roof, the house is two floors high and has several rooms among which two bedrooms and three luxury bathrooms.

For the toilet paper then, it would almost be natural to suggest a nice 5-meter reel!

Originally born as a private villa, it was turned into a museum of which we will talk about on the next TidBits!
